Moose Inn | Walk to Zoo + Near Bear Mountain

Escape to Moose Inn, a charming two-bedroom cabin in the heart of Moonridge, one of Big Bear's most popular year-round neighborhoods. With a cozy single-level layout, walkable access to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and Bear Mountain Resort, golf, hiking, and biking nearby, this inviting retreat is an ideal home base for couples, small families, and friends looking to experience the best of the mountains. Step inside to a warm and welcoming living room filled with classic Big Bear character. Soaring knotty pine ceilings and large picture windows create a bright, open atmosphere, while the wood-burning fireplace sets the scene for cozy evenings after skiing, hiking, or exploring the lake. The fully equipped kitchen provides the cookware, appliances, and essentials needed to prepare meals at home. Enjoy breakfast before heading to Bear Mountain, pack up for a day of outdoor adventures, or gather around the dining area for a relaxed dinner back at the cabin. Both bedrooms are conveniently located on the same level. One bedroom features a twin-over-full bunk bed, while the second offers a queen bed and direct access to the backyard deck. Fresh linens, cozy blankets, and towels are provided for a comfortable stay. A full hallway bathroom serves the home.

Outside, the spacious deck gives you another place to enjoy Big Bear's mountain setting. Start the morning with fresh alpine air, prepare dinner on the propane BBQ, enjoy a meal outdoors, or settle in beneath the towering pines after a full day of adventure. Moose Inn's Moonridge location keeps year-round recreation within easy reach.
