Mockingbird Getaway | Hot Tub + Walk to Lake

Welcome to Mockingbird Getaway, a freshly renovated four-bedroom mountain chalet with a bonus room, private hot tub, and game room in a convenient central Big Bear location. Blending modern finishes with classic mountain comfort, this spacious two-story retreat accommodates up to ten guests and puts year-round activities within easy reach. Take a quick stroll to Meadow Park for lake access and play time, or head to The Village and ski resorts, all located less than two miles away.

Step inside through the grand foyer, where beautiful tile floors, freshly painted walls, and a custom wrought iron staircase introduce the home's updated style. The inviting living room features hardwood floors, large windows, plush seating, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Gather for a movie on the massive mounted streaming TV or simply settle in and watch the snow fall outside. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, while guests must use their own accounts to access subscription-based streaming services.

Around the corner, the formal dining room provides plenty of space to gather for meals and special dinners together. The beautifully renovated kitchen features tile floors, marble countertops, oak cabinetry stocked with cookware and utensils, general appliances, and a dishwasher for easy cleanup. A separate laundry room with a washer and dryer adds extra convenience for wet snow clothes and extended mountain stays.

The spacious layout offers plenty of sleeping flexibility for families and groups. The entry-level bedroom features two twin beds and a work desk, along with convenient access to a full hallway bathroom. Upstairs, a second bedroom offers two twin beds and another work desk, while the third bedroom features a queen bed and streaming TV. The spacious primary suite includes a king bed, streaming TV, fireplace, and private full bathroom complete with a jetted spa tub and steam shower. An upstairs bonus room with a full bed provides additional sleeping space, while another full hallway bathroom serves the upper level. Fresh linens, blankets, pillows, and shower towels are prepared for your arrival.

For even more entertainment, head out to the converted garage game room where your group can enjoy a full-size pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard no matter the season. A flat-screen TV and sitting chairs create another comfortable spot for game day or hanging out together, giving both kids and adults plenty to do without leaving the property.

Outside, the spacious tree-lined property is partially fenced for added privacy and provides the perfect setting for relaxing beneath the pines. After skiing, hiking, or exploring the lake, sink into the private hot tub and unwind under the stars. When you're ready to venture out, take a quick stroll to Meadow Park for lake access and recreation, or enjoy convenient access to The Village, ski resorts, and other Big Bear attractions less than two miles away.
