Black Diamond Vista | Dog-Friendly Chalet with Three Decks & Mountain Views, Near Bear Mountain

Welcome to Black Diamond Vista, a dog-friendly Big Bear chalet less than a mile from Bear Mountain Ski Resort. This 2,000-square-foot retreat has three bedrooms, a themed bunk room, and a loft, sleeps up to nine guests, and welcomes your dogs. Skip the resort parking fees and enjoy quick access to skiing, hiking and biking trails, golf, and Big Bear Lake in every season.

Start each morning on one of three sun-filled decks with a cup of coffee and beautiful mountain views, then return in the evening to fire up the BBQ and relax on the outdoor furniture in the fresh alpine air. Inside, vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace create a warm mountain atmosphere. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen makes gathering and cooking easy, and the living spaces offer streaming TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, a foosball table, and board games for game nights. On the entry level, you'll find two queen bedrooms, one with a private 3/4 bathroom and balcony access, plus a full hallway bathroom. Upstairs, the king bedroom has balcony access, and kids will love the wizard-themed bunk room with a twin-over-twin bunk. Through the bunk room, the loft offers a queen bed, a queen sofa bed, a streaming TV, and the foosball table, giving the group plenty of room to spread out.

Black Diamond Vista's location puts Big Bear's year-round adventures within easy reach. In winter, hit the slopes at Bear Mountain, less than a mile away. In summer, explore the hiking and biking trails, play a round at Bear Mountain Golf Course, or head down to Big Bear Lake for boating and fishing. The Village's restaurants and shops are just a short drive away, and the four-car driveway makes arriving with a group easy.
